INFRATEL

INFRATEL was established in 2017 to own and operate shared telecommunications and ICT infrastructure on behalf of the IDC Group and Government. It provides wholesale infrastructure and digital services through communication towers, data centres, fibre networks and cloud platforms for mobile operators, internet providers, public institutions and other licensed organisations. By separating shared infrastructure from individual network operators, INFRATEL supports wider connectivity, more efficient use of national digital assets and the continued growth of Zambia's communications economy.
