ZESCO Limited is Zambia's vertically integrated national electricity utility. Its operations span electricity generation, transmission, distribution and supply, supporting households, public institutions and businesses across the country. ZESCO operates across the full electricity value chain and is central to the reliability, expansion and modernisation of Zambia's power system. Its role also connects the country to regional electricity markets and creates a platform for new generation projects, including renewable-energy investments that complement the existing hydropower base.
