Mulungushi Textiles Limited

Zambia-China Mulungushi Textiles operates a textile manufacturing plant in Kabwe. Reopened in 2026 after a period of inactivity, the plant supports Zambia's cotton-to-textile value chain by linking local cotton production with domestic textile manufacturing and value addition. Its revival is intended to strengthen local production capacity, create an industrial market for cotton farmers and rebuild textile manufacturing capability in Central Province. The company represents a renewed focus on using local raw materials in finished products.
