Zambia Airways – Supervisor: Finance

POSITION INFORMATION

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Manager Finance and Strategic Planning, The Supervisor Finance will be responsible for organizing, planning and controlling all Finance functions.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for organizing, planning and controlling all Finance functions which includes disbursement of funds for material and service invoices, other accounts payable, payroll and payroll payments, general accounts, property & equipment;
• Controls timely collection of trade receivables;
• Establishes relationships with financial and non-governmental institutions for the funding of the Company;
• Responsible for Revenue Accounting functions which includes Passenger and Cargo Sales Accounts, Revenue and Interline Accounting, Refunds and Accountable documents;
• Perform all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field of studies
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in airlines Finance or related areas with at least 2 years’ management experience as Supervisor or equivalent level
• Professional Membership to relevant professional bodies is essential
