Personal Assistant (Legal Secretary)

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Reporting principally to the Chief Legal Officer/Company Secretary;
  2. To also attend to the typing of correspondence and legal documents as assigned by the Manager Legal or her nominees;
  3. To carry out effective office management and high-quality secretarial duties, including legal secretarial;
  4. Type standard legal documents;
  5. Management of the Chief Legal Officer’s official schedules, appointments, and meetings including travel arrangements;
  6. Provide oversight of all clerical work and minor administrative and business detail;
  7. Supervising the legal clerk;
  8. Managing office supplies and requisitioning for supplies when required;
  9. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by counsel from time-to-time.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Full Grade 12 Certificate,
  2. Diploma in secretarial with a bias to legal secretarial
  3. At least 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment ( work experience in a law firm will be added advantage)

 

Key Knowledge and Attributes

  1. Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  2. Good planning and organization skills;
  3. High level of confidentiality, dependability, and attention to detail;
  4. Computer skills;
  5. The candidate must be aged between 25 and 35.
