Chitambo Agro Processing Limited (“CAPL”) is a company owned by the Industrial Development Corporation (“IDC”) in partnership with the Chitambo District Cooperative Union (‘’CDCU’’). CAPL is a start-up cassava milling company located in Mukando Chitambo, Central Province and will be producing cassava meal, starch, and stock feed for the local and regional markets.

A need has arisen to fill the following position:

OPERATIONS MANAGER

In job grade CAP 2, the Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, managing the workforce, and optimizing productivity. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the plant meets its production goals and operates profitably.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Food Technology, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• Master’s degree in Operations Management or other relevant field will be an added advantage.
• Professional Membership.
• Five (5) years of work experience in a similar position.
