Chitambo Agro Processing Limited (“CAPL”) is a company owned by the Industrial Development Corporation (“IDC”) in partnership with the Chitambo District Cooperative Union (‘’CDCU’’). CAPL is a start-up cassava milling company located in Mukando Chitambo, Central Province and will be producing cassava meal, starch, and stock feed for the local and regional markets.

A need has arisen to fill the following position:

ELECTRICIAN

In job grade CAP 5, the Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with other maintenance and production staff to support the plant’s operational needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of Three (3) years work experience with industrial electrical equipment or experience in a similar position.
