- JOB PURPOSE
Oversee the formulation, implementation maintenance of policies, systems, standards, and procedures for effective and efficient management of the Human Capital Division across the division, and Group to ensure consistency, best management practices and quality assurance in all division activities to realise IDC set strategic objectives.
Responsible for developing and executing Human Capital Strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of IDC Group, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organisational and performance management, training, and leadership by articulating Human Capital needs and plans.
Monitor effective implementation of policies and procedures for the induction, training, and professional development of senior management, other than members of the Board.
The Chief Human Capital Officer provides strategic leadership by articulating Human Capital needs and plans to the Management Executive Team (MEC), the Board of Directors, and Shareholders.
The position is a member of the Management Executive Committee.

- ESSENTIAL/DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Professional Qualification:
- Grade 12 School Certificate.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Psychology, Strategic Management, Business Administration, and/or equivalent Professional Qualification in a relevant field from a reputable institution.
- Master’s Degree in Human Resource, Psychology, Strategic Management, Business Administration, and/or equivalent Professional Qualification from a reputable institution.
- Professional Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).
- Minimum Relevant Work Experience:
- 10 years relevant work experience in Senior Management or similar position.
