If you have graduated from University with a Distinction or Merit and aspire to establish a career among top-tier professionals, you are welcome to submit your application for the IDC Graduate Trainee Program, where you can join as a Junior Analyst.

The IDC was incorporated in January 2014 and is wholly owned by the Government through the Minister of Finance pursuant to the Minister of Finance (Incorporation) Act Cap 349 of the Laws of Zambia. The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) charged with the mandate to spearhead the Zambian Government’s commercial investments agenda aimed at strengthening Zambia’s industrial base and job creation.

As part of its growth strategy, IDC focuses on developing Investment Professionals in the country through the Graduate Trainee Program. The Graduate Trainees undergo a one (1) year structured development program where they are trained in investments, portfolio management, and research among other areas of business.

IDC accepts Masters or Degree holders with Distinction or Merit in the following:   

• Business Administration /Economics/Commerce/Risk and Internal Audit
• Accountancy/Corporate Finance/ Financial Management/Full ACCA/CIMA/CA Zambia
• Investments /Portfolio Management /Treasury/CFA/Banking and Finance
• Project Management / Production and Operations Management/ Engineering
• Law/Human Resources/Administration/Procurement/ Agriculture/Development Studies

TO APPLY YOU MUST:

• Be a Zambian National.
• Be a Degree/Masters holder with a Merit or Distinction.
• Be 25 years and below as of 31^st December 2025.
• Before the job offer, a successful candidate should have their qualifications validated by the Zambia Qualifications Authority.

NOTE:

Shortlisted applicants will undergo Aptitude Testing, Psychometric Assessments, and Interviews among others. Successful candidates will report for programme on 1^st March 2026.
