IDC CEO OFFICIALLY WELCOMES 2026 COHORT OF GRADUATE TRAINEES AND INTERNS

The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Cornwell Muleya has officially welcomed a new cohort of Graduate Trainees and Interns, reaffirming the Corporation’s commitment to nurturing young talent and building future industry leaders.
Addressing the cohort, Mr. Muleya congratulated the trainees on earning their place in the highly competitive programme and encouraged them to seize the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.
Mr. Muleya urged the graduates to strive to be the best version of themselves, embrace continuous learning, and remain disciplined and purpose-driven throughout their journey.
He emphasized that the Graduate Trainee Programme is not merely a training initiative, but a strategic platform designed to develop competent, ethical, and high-performing professionals aligned with IDC’s core values of professionalism, transparency, integrity, distinction, and partnership.
The IDC Graduate Trainee Programme is an intensive one-year in-house development initiative tailored for fresh university graduates.
The programme consists of two key phases: a six-month rotational period where trainees are exposed to various departments and units relevant to their professional focus, followed by six months of specialized training in a designated department based on performance appraisal outcomes.
This structured approach ensures that participants gain broad institutional exposure before deepening their expertise in a specific functional area.
