Main responsibility
As Head of Investments – Tourism, Infrastructure and Services, Peggy leads the identification, evaluation, structuring, and execution of commercially viable investment opportunities. She oversees the formulation and execution of the investment strategy, project development, stakeholder engagement, financial analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance while leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver bankable projects that attract private investment, support sustainable economic development, and achieve IDC’s strategic objectives.
Work experience:
Makwebo Peggy Lisati-Minja is the Head of Investments – Tourism, Infrastructure and Services at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Zambia. She is an investment executive, chartered accountant, treasury professional, Certified Investment Advisor, and Stockbroker with over 20 years of experience in investment management, treasury, infrastructure finance, tourism development, and internal audit. Previously, she served as Head of Treasury and Investments at National Pension Scheme Authority( NAPSA), where she managed multi-billion Kwacha investment portfolios. She started her career at KPMG,as an Audit assistant. Peggy holds a Global MBA from Oxford Brookes University and is a Fellow of ACCA and ZICA. She is passionate about developing bankable investment projects that drive sustainable economic growth, private sector investment, and job creation.
