Musika Development Initiatives Zambia Ltd has today handed over two refrigerated trucks to IDC’s fruit processing projects, Kalene Hills in Mwinilunga, North-western Province and Eastern Tropical Fruits in Katete, Eastern Province.
Musika has a partnership agreement with IDC to support the establishment of the two processing plants.
Receiving the trucks, IDC acting Group CEO Mr Henry Sakala said significant progress has been made on the development of the plant infrastructure in Mwinilunga, with the installation of the requisite equipment nearing completion and will be commissioned soon.
He added that the development of infrastructure at Eastern Tropical Fruits is also nearing completion while installation of the plant machinery and equipment has also commenced.
