IDC UNVEILS ZAMBEZI CASHEW COMPANY LIMITED BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In continued Governance Reform efforts aimed at improving subsidiary operations, Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) CEO Mr Cornwell Muleya has unveiled the Board of Directors for Zambezi Cashew Company Limited.
Zambezi Cashew Company is 100% owned by IDC and is located in Mongu district, Western Province.
Mr. Muleya instructed the newly appointed Board to guide the company’s management towards implementing operational reforms aimed at increasing production, enhancing financial performance, and delivering benefits for shareholders and the country.
He said pursuant to the company’s vision and mission, expectations for Zambezi Cashew Company include making a positive impact in cashew supply chains by establishing a world-class cashew plantation and processing business to compete favourably in the industry.
Mr Muleya also advised the Board to navigate challenges caused by climate change and evolving business environments, and to provide necessary guidance to achieve the company’s long-term vision and mission.
The newly appointed Board members are: Ms Margaret Chinula (Chairperson), Mr Collen Mweemba, Mr Habenzu Simamba, Mr Brian Nasilele (all Directors) and Mr Nii Adotey Addo (General Manager).
