Arising from President Hakainde Hichilema’s state visit to Qatar in March 2023 where he invited Qatari investors to invest in Zambia, IDC today hosted a delegation from the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA).
IDC CEO Perry Mapani and Jito Kayumba, Special Assistant to the President for Finance and Investment, hosted the delegation and presented investment opportunities available in Zambia.
Also present at the meetings were Permanent Secretaries and senior officials in the Ministries of Agriculture; Mines & Mineral Development; Transport & Logistics, as well as Tourism & Arts.
The delegation is seeking investment opportunities in Agriculture, Mining, Tourism as well as Transport and Infrastructure.
