The IDC has hosted a workshop on Corporate Governance for Board Members and Senior Management at the Kenneth Kaunda International Conference Centre in Lusaka.
Organized by the Legal Division of the IDC, the workshop was meant to familiarize participants with the global best practices in Corporate Governance for them to gain new perspectives on the impact of good Corporate Governance practices in ensuring the efficient management of a company.
In a vote of thanks, Director Nitesh Patel thanked IDC Management for hosting the workshop. He said Corporate Governance was a pressing issue in the modern corporate world, adding that Board Directors needed regular training to manage Boards effectively.
And IDC Acting Group CEO Mr Henry Sakala said the workshop was critical to ensure that the Board and Management of the company coordinate to carry the institution forward.
