IDC Acting Group CEO Mr Henry Sakala was over the weekend in Mwinilunga to inspect civil works and equipment installation works that are nearing completion in preparation for testing and certification.
The hybrid fruit processing plant will add value to pineapples and other fruits that go to waste every year in the province.
Earlier the Acting Group CEO paid a courtesy call on Senior Chief Kanongesha at his Palace in Mwinilunga and briefed him on the progess that the IDC has made so far in operationalising the fruit processing plant.
