DUBAI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SEEKS INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN ZAMBIA

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce earlier today paid a courtesy call on the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) seeking investment opportunities in Zambia.
IDC Acting CEO Mrs. Pamela Musepa, on behalf of CEO Mr. Cornwell Muleya, welcomed the Dubai Chamber, represented by Mr. Abdulla Momade, Chief Representative of Southern Africa, who was accompanied by Mr. Mwelwa Chibesakunda from Chibesakunda & Company.
The Dubai Chamber expressed keen interest in exploring investment opportunities across various sectors, including mining, agriculture, infrastructure, and renewable energy. In response, IDC made a comprehensive presentation of investment opportunities within key priority sectors like agriculture, energy, manufacturing, mining, and tourism.
Mrs. Musepa emphasized the potential for fruitful partnerships between Zambia and the Dubai Chamber, including equity partnerships and capital raising for investment expansion.
Established in 1965, the Dubai Chamber is the largest Chamber of Commerce in the Middle East, with about 400,000 members. Functioning as a non-profit public organization, its mission centers on facilitating investments into and out of Dubai.
