The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Cornwell Muleya says Infratel’s newly acquired Digital House is the new digital hub for innovation, collaboration and transformative solutions.
Speaking through a speech read on his behalf by IDC Chief Legal Officer, Mrs Leya Mtonga Ngoma during the official opening of the Infratel Head Office, Mr. Muleya said Digital House is a place where innovative digital solutions will be crafted, partnerships strengthened, and where dreams of a digitally inclusive Zambia will be realised.
He further explained that IDC views digital infrastructure as the cornerstone of economic growth and key to advancing the group’s strategic objectives of wealth creation, industrial transformation and operational excellence.
Speaking at the same event, Infratel Board Chairperson, Mr Stein Liyanda, commended the efforts that brought the vision of Digital House to life.
“This facility stands as a testament to what we can achieve through resilience and innovation. It represents progress, opportunity, and our shared vision of a digitally empowered Zambia,” Mr. Liyanda said.
Digital House is strategically designed to be a centre for creativity, development, and execution of digital solutions that address Zambia’s unique challenges. The facility will play a key role in enabling digital communications infrastructure, promoting digital inclusivity, and enhancing economic growth through technology.
