IDC has congratulated the newly appointed executive members of the Association of Chinese Corporations in Zambia (ACCZ), inaugurated during the 8th Council and the Association’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
The event was graced by Hon. Frank Tayali, Minister of Transport & Logistics, Hon. Chipoka Mulenga, Minister of Commerce, Trade & Industry, and the Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, H.E. Han Jing.
IDC CEO Mr. Cornwell Muleya hailed the milestone, noting the growing partnership with Chinese companies, whose investments in Zambia now exceed US$4 billion. Recently, IDC signed MoUs worth over US$1 billion with Chinese firms at the Invest in Zambia Conference (IZIC), unlocking opportunities in energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and value addition.
Since its establishment, ACCZ has been a vital bridge for business linkages, skills transfer, technology adoption and economic growth.
